It Breaks Your Heart!

Here are the pictures of Quinn in the ambulance and hospital after his accident (see my post in January if you're not sure what I'm talking about).  How heartbreaking is that?  He was such a trooper.  He never screamed or cried when they were working on him.  He just seemed a little annoyed at everything.

They gave Quinn a breathing treatment in the ambulance.  The medics were almost more concerned about his asthma then anything.  I'm sure they have had some pretty close calls when it comes to asthma.  Didn't want to take any chances of him having a major attack.  They took very good care of him.  You can see Quinn holding Daddy's hand at the bottom of the picture.

What a brave boy you have! And I'm impressed that you had the presence of mind to get a few pictures. Those things are keepers! Let's hope you never have the opportunity again to retake those photos!

How scary! I am so grateful Ihave gotten through the last 10 years of motherhood with no major medical event...no stitches, no broken bones, nothing...and I have two VERY active boys! I guess I better go find some wood to knock on.

I'm so glad he's okay!

Oh my goodness, how scary! I'm so glad that he is OK - you're right that we always need to remember how precious life and our children are... thanks for the reminder!

That is so scary, I am so glad he is ok. Love your blog...whats the story behind the name? Your kids are so cute. We miss you guys and the wonderful Arizona weather. Hope you are doing well.

Oh wow that is super scary. I don't know what it is like to have your child in an ambulance, but with Brett I still can't describe the feeling. On a better note: your family is super cute and I cannot believe Daily is 8. I thought I was so old when she was born and I was almost 14. Crazy, how fast everyone grows up.

I'm glad everything is OK with Quinn. I loved your idea for a birthday party. That hike and picnic is a great idea.
