My Non-Mobile But Oh So Lovable Baby

At 10 months Ella doesn't move much.  She doesn't crawl.  She doesn't pull herself up.  She barely even rolls.  So what does she do?  She is really good at conserving energy.  She just sits there and plays and smiles and looks adorable.  Worried?  No, at nine months I asked the doctor if I should be concerned.  But since big brother Quinn didn't crawl until two days before his first birthday he said not to worry.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.  Ella is way to content to worry herself with that crawling business.  In fact, I think that if I get a guard dog to protect her and sit Ella on the floor with a bottle within her reach, I could leave the house for several hours and come back to a perfectly happy little baby.  But instead I will just kiss on her and love her and enjoy the fact that she is not in a big hurry to grow up.  My sweet baby girl.

She is such a CUTIE! My Eli was like that too... he rolled around and didn't crawl until just before his 1st birthday - and it was an army crawl at that. He walked at 15 months... now at 2 1/2 he runs and climbs all over! They all do it in their own time =).

It is fun to have Mae crawling, but at times like today I wish she would just stay still. Ella is adorable. Sandy was telling me cute stories about your family.

Ella is soooo cute! I can't believe how big the kids are getting. I love checking your blog to see what you guys are up to and all the cute things the kids say.
